Welcome to the Preservation League of Evanston

The PRESERVATION LEAGUE OF EVANSTON was founded in 1979 as a voluntary, community-wide advocacy organization to preserve the architectural and visual character of the city. The League is being revived to pursue these goals. It seeks to maintain a complementary, yet separate relationship with the Evanston Preservation Commission and to encourage cooperation with other governmental agencies as well as historic and civic organizations.
